So food van owners can trust what they see, we confirm every venue is genuine before it goes live. This is usually quick, and we'll be in touch if we need anything from you.

Once verified, you'll appear in our Venue Directory. Food van owners can see your address, hire price and contact details, and reach out directly to arrange a visit.

Frequently asked questions

We welcome a wide variety of venues to list with us - anything from car parks and tennis clubs to pubs and recreational grounds. If you have a suitable space for food vans to set up, and you have the authority to allow it, we encourage you to register as a venue owner.

Just your name, an email address and your venue's address to get registered. Once you're in, you can add optional extras from your profile at any time - a hire price, a contact number and any notes food van owners should know before they get in touch.

Verification stops anyone from listing a venue that isn't theirs to offer. It means food van owners can trust every listing in the directory is genuine, and it protects real venues from being impersonated.

Yes, any time. There's a "Remove my listing" button on your profile page that takes you out of the directory straight away. Changed your mind later? You can relist from the same place whenever you're ready.

As we continue to grow Whereabites, listing as a food-van-friendly venue will remain completely free for the time being. Should we ever introduce charges in the future, you'll be notified well in advance, and early venues like yours will be looked after.
